To be a safe and inviting place where families and individuals from many diverse backgrounds are welcomed, cared for, and helped to establish a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. Each person is then encouraged, built up in their faith and equipped to serve Him.
Two thousand years ago, Jesus gave his church two important directives:
The Great Commandment: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind” and “Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:37)
The Great Commission: “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19)
We believe that these words of Jesus help us to shape our values and our primary purposes as a church:
1. Worship: To express our love for God in meaningful times of worship that exalt Christ and allow us to experience the healing presence and power of the Holy Spirit.
2. Caring: To live out Christ's call to love one another, both within our own church family and also in practical acts of love and service among our neighbours in the greater Fort Erie area.
3. Outreach: To share the good news of Christ's love through word and deed, so that people in our community can discover a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.
4. Growth: To foster in each person a growing relationship with Christ by teaching Biblical principles in relevant and applicable ways that empower us to walk in obedience to Him.
